One of our companies is currently looking for a Principal Software Engineer – AI Security in Israel .

This role is an exceptional opportunity for a hands-on engineering leader to shape the future of AI security. You’ll join a high-impact team focused on developing secure, scalable, and intelligent systems from the ground up. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will drive backend architecture and product innovation that helps organizations securely adopt and manage AI technologies. If you thrive in ambiguity, excel in system design, and enjoy building at the frontier of AI and cybersecurity, this role is for you.

Accountabilities :

Architect and implement secure, scalable backend services and infrastructure for AI-powered solutions
Make critical design decisions and influence technology direction across teams
Lead development of microservices, APIs, and distributed systems with a focus on security and performance
Drive adoption of cloud-native and containerized infrastructure across projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide mentorship, and uphold engineering excellence through code reviews and knowledge sharing
Explore emerging technologies and integrate third-party tools, APIs, and cloud-native AI services

Requirements

10+ years of backend development experience with strong proficiency in Java, TypeScript, or Python

Deep understanding of distributed systems, RESTful API design, multi-tenancy, databases, and message queues

Proven leadership in architecting high-performance, production-scale systems in cloud environments

Experience with Kubernetes or similar orchestration platforms in a microservices architecture

Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor and align cross-functional engineering teams

Proactive problem-solver with ownership mentality and a passion for driving technical innovation

Bonus : Experience with GenAI, LLMs, vector databases, embedding-based search, or secure-by-default system design
