Quality Department Manager

Location: Or Akiva.

Job Description:Overall management and leadership of the company's quality assurance framework, with responsibility for maintaining and improving quality standards and ensuring compliance with standards, customer requirements, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for the plant's quality framework
  
• Direct management of the Quality Department team (~8 employees)
  
• Leading internal and external audits
  
• Writing, updating, and maintaining procedures
  
• Managing failure investigations, corrective actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement
  
• Conducting quality training and embedding work procedures
  
• Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors on quality issues
  
• Ongoing cross-functional collaboration with Production, Engineering, R&D, Procurement, PPC, Warehouse, and Logistics
  
• Ensuring compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards according to company procedures
  

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of experience in managing quality systems, preference for defense / manufacturing industries
  
• Experience and familiarity with ISO 9001; knowledge of additional standards – advantage
  
• Experience in quality control and inspection across Electronics / Mechanics / Optics
  
• Ability to read technical drawings – required
  
• Familiarity with manufacturing and logistics processes
  
• Proven experience in team management
  
• Familiarity with measurement processes
  
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  
• Experience working with Priority ERP system – significant advantage
  
• Practical Engineer or B.Sc. in Mechanical / Electrical / Optical Engineering – advantage
  
• Certification in Quality Courses / Quality Engineering – advantage
  
• Proficient written and reading English skills
  
• Willingness to travel domestically and abroad as needed
