ISV Solutions Architects work hand in hand with AWS Software & Technology customers to help them make the most of the cloud. They are at the crossroads of technology and business, engaging with some of the most exciting software companies at all stages of cloud adoption. Solutions Architects also take a leading role in creating and presenting technical content and best practices. Solutions Architects own the overall technical relationship between customers and AWS. They work to understand the customer's business needs and provide prescriptive guidance on how to create business value with technology.

In this role, you will practice your creativity, linking technology to tangible solutions and educating AWS customers about the art of the possible. You will have the opportunity to define or invent cloud-native reference architectures for a variety of use cases. You will have the support to grow your expertise in industry and technology areas of depth. Every day, you will learn something new from your customers, your peers, and your own experiments.

Practical knowledge of the AWS platform is desired but not required, provided you have a strong technical foundation and a desire to learn.

Key job responsibilities
• As a Solutions Architect, you will work directly with customers to accelerate their projects and recommend best-practice architectures in line with their long-term business outcomes.
• Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• You will own the technical relationship with the customer and operate as their trusted advisor. The best interests of the customer will shape the guidance you provide.
• Share the voice of the customer to influence the roadmap of new features and services for the AWS platform.
• Create and capture best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures (e.g., white papers, code samples, blog posts).
• Evangelize and educate about AWS technology (e.g., workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, or conferences).
• Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization by hiring, coaching, and mentoring others.
• Develop areas of depth in technical domains such as: Generative AI and Data Analytics, relevant to your interests and your customers' outcomes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, Generative AI, data & analytics) experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
- Experience developing technology solutions and evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level, including training, workshops, publications
- Fluent English & Hebrew

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of distributed systems design and implementation or equivalent
- Knowledge of large scale automation and workflow management or equivalent
- Knowledge of database design and implementation or equivalent
- Knowledge of presentations and whiteboarding skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, and developers
- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
