QA Automation Engineer Netanya (On-site | DefenseIndustry)

We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join an exciting project in the defense industry , focused on developing autonomous drone and control station systems from scratch.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Netanya .

Security clearance is required for this position.

What You’ll Do

Design and build a custom automation framework from the ground up tailored to a complex, multi-system environment.

Work on automation tools for both server-side and client-side testing.

Take part in building tools for autonomous drone platforms , including multiple drone coordination and control stations.

What We’re Looking For

At least 2 years of experience in software QA testing , including both server-side and client-side environments.

1+ years of experience in automation development (Playwright is a plus).

Strong coding skills in any programming language (JavaScript - Preferred, Java, Python).

Comfortable working with Linux-based systems .

Ability to quickly understand new systems and processes and provide automation solutions even without prior system familiarity.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Bonus if You Have

Experience in the defense industry or embedded systems

Exposure to autonomous platforms or drone-related technologies
