Egis with its partners (altogether called METAV) have been appointed as Network Manager, to work closely with the client in managing the planning, design and construction of 3 new underground metro lines in Tel Aviv. The 3 new metro lines will total km and metro stations to serve 24 municipalities. Key figures :

You will lead the activities relating to your discipline within our project METAV Tel Aviv Metro Network Manager. This is a unique opportunity to deliver a project across all phases : design, construction until operation.
Job description
Serve as the Programmes technical and professional expert for all the underground work aspects on behalf of the Owner in the management and approval process of the Programmes design deliverablesProvide technical evaluation of the designs developed by the Line Managers and others, identifying the suitability of the solutions proposed and any alternatives, cost / schedule implications and risks / opportunities.Ensure alignment of the civil / structural aspects of the programme with Operations & Maintenance and Railway System requirements.Responsible for the maintenance of the Civil & Structural aspects of the manual of design standards and criteria (MDSM), based on international engineering best practices and with reference to the Owners existing DSM, all applicable Laws, the applicable design standards in force in Israel and applicable international design standardsResponsible for the maintenance of the Civil & Structural aspects of the design task guideMonitor the implementation of and adherence to the MDSM, the Design Management Procedures and Design Task Guide by the Line Managers, the Network designers, the Line designers and all other Programme participants for the Civil & Structural aspects and especially for underground worksProvide to NTA any advice on civil works and more specifically on underground worksProfile
The candidate should be / have :
Senior engineer with at least 15 years experience in major infrastructure / transportation projects including mass-transit.Experience in the design, construction and / or supervision of underground mass-transit structures including stations (C&C, NATM, etc), tunnels (TBM and C&C), shafts, junction boxes, highways, at grade structures, etc.Involvement in the early stages of project development, including option identification / evaluation and value engineering is desirable.Experience of working from the Clients perspective is desirable.Bachelors degree in civil or structural engineering.Position location
