Senior System & Information Security Administrator

We are looking for a highly autonomous and hands-on Senior System & Information Security Administrator with strong system infrastructure expertise to take full ownership of the company’s global IT infrastructure and security environment.

This is a standalone IT role, responsible for the hands-on management of the organization’s systems, infrastructure, security, and end-user environment, while coordinating external IT providers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Administration - Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers (On-prem/Azure), Active Directory, Entra ID, user accounts, and monitoring systems.
• IT Infrastructure & Storage – Maintain networks, hardware, and storage systems to ensure stable and efficient operations
• Technical Support - Provide high-level technical support to end users and resolve infrastructure related issues
• Information Security - Maintain firewalls, endpoint protection, and access control; enforce security policies to ensure system integrity
• Backup & DB Maintenance - Manage backup processes, disaster recovery (DR), and routine MS-SQL Server maintenance
• Vendor Coordination - Professional management of external IT and security vendors when required.

Requirements

• 7+ years of recent hands-on System Administration experience, with the ability to independently manage a broad IT environment end-to-end.
• Strong and current hands-on experience with Active Directory, including DCs, GPO, DNS, Replication, troubleshooting, and AD security/hardening.
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows and Linux servers in production environments, networking, virtualization (mainly Proxmox), backup and DR.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, hybrid environments, and endpoint/MDM management.
• Strong practical experience in information security, including firewalls, endpoint security, and access control.
• Hebrew – high proficiency; English – very high proficiency.
