What will you do?
The VP MIS is responsible for leading the information systems strategy, ensuring the company's information systems and processes are scalable and aligned with the company's strategic goals. This role requires a leader who can manage and optimize both the software that supports the company’s operations, enabling innovation and efficiency across the organization.
Strategic Leadership :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive information systems strategy that supports the company’s overall business objectives.
- Work closely with the relevant stakeholders to identify and prioritize technology investments.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives, driving innovation in operations, customer experience and Go to market development.
Technology Management :
Oversee the development, implementation, solution management and maintenance of all information systems, including ERP, CRM and other business applications.Team Leadership :
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Establish goals and performance metrics for the MIS department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Promote collaboration between the MIS team and other departments to ensure effective technology use across the company.Budgeting and Resource Allocation :
Develop and manage the MIS budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.Oversee vendor selection and relationship management for IT-related services and products.Business Process Optimization :
Collaborate with department heads to identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.Innovation and Future Planning :
Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, and assess their potential impact on the company.Drive the adoption of innovative technologies that enhance product development, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency (democratization)Requirements
Requirements :
10+ years of experience in MIS leadership roles, preferably within a software or technology-driven company.Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale MIS projects, including digital transformation initiatives.Strategic thinking and the ability to align MIS initiatives with business objectives.Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Proficiency in project management, budgeting, and vendor management.Benefits
