GigaSpaces is looking for a strategic and business-driven Director of Sales Development to lead our global BDR (Business Development Representative) team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing and scaling SDR / BDR teams in a SaaS or fast-paced startup environment , with a strong ability to connect sales execution to broader business goals.

You will be responsible for shaping and generating our outbound and inbound pipeline strategy, mentoring a team, and driving operational excellence across the sales development function.

This position is full time, hybrid and located in Herzeliya.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead a high-performing, metrics-driven BDR team.
  • Develop and execute a scalable sales development strategy aligned with company objectives
  • Set clear KPIs and performance frameworks, and drive accountability through data
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Product to optimize pipeline generation
  • Build and refine outreach processes, messaging, and workflows
  • Coach team members to reach their full potential.
  • Hire and onboard top talent as the team scales
  • Provide strategic input to executive leadership based on pipeline insights and market feedback
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales development, with 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Experience working in a SaaS company or startup environment
  • Proven success in managing teams toward measurable pipeline and revenue goals
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen – ability to connect day-to-day work with long-term vision
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with CRM and sales ennoblement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, HubSpot)
  • Highly organised and motivated, with the ability to lead through personal example, influence and inspire teams

Nice to Have :

  • Experience working with global or remote teams
  • Familiarity with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) or enterprise sales motion
  • Background in selling to mid-market or enterprise clients
